This presentation provides an update on Ecology's revised approach to amending the Surface Water Quality Standards and an update on current Surface Water Quality Standards rule-makings. The presentation also discusses the development of a policy forum & delegate's table which will support the current rule-making process. It was presented at the public workshop on Reducing Toxics in Fish, Sediment, and Water on August 28, 2012. The workshop provided an in-depth explanation of Ecology's revised approach for adopting human health criteria for water quality and cleaning up contaminated sediments.
