Description Watershed protection and enhancement is a key element in the Yakima River Basin Integrated Water Resource Management Plan. Acquisition and protection of watershed land will protect sources of cold water needed for bull trout, salmon, and steelhead habitat and spawning grounds and improve water supply and water quality.
