Description This is the final report on a study of lead emissions at Auburn Municipal Airport and Harvey Field. Federal regulations required eight states to conduct ambient air monitoring for lead at 15 airports for a period of 12 consecutive months starting December 27, 2011. In addition to assessing the ambient air lead concentrations and potential exposure to lead from the use of leaded aviation gasoline (avgas) in piston engine powered aircraft, the main purpose of this study was to determine if continuing airport monitoring would be required.
