Author(s) Pickett, P.
Description In the Middle Snake watershed planning area (WRIA 35), the Department of Ecology has 9 active flow gaging stations and 4 historical stations, and there are 2 active United States Geological Survey flow stations funded by Ecology.

This report presents:
• Regression-based models that predict flows for these stations using the hydrograph separation method.
• A quality assessment of the models.
• Recommendations for support of flow gaging stations.

The flow information needs of local partners and the state should be compared to the quality of the models to determine whether models or direct flow measurements meet those needs.
