The Rain Garden Handbook for Western Washington is a guide for helping people plan, design and build rain gardens to assist in controlling stormwater. This guide can be used by homeowners, landscapers, landscape architects, engineers and others to implement Rain Gardens in Western Washington for regulatory as well as non-regulatory requirements. Rain Gardens are part of Facilities known as Best Management Practices (BMPs). The Handbook includes a introductory guide as to how rain gardens can be used to meet Minimum Requirements # 1-5 of the 2012 Stormwater Management Manual for Western Washington. |
