| Description |
The Department of Ecology’s Environmental Assessment Program installed 17 rain gages in and around the area affected by the 2014 Carlton Complex wildfires in Okanogan County. This project involved coordination and planning with local, state, and federal agencies. The rainfall data will be used to inform local emergency officials and the public about the possibility for hazardous landslide conditions in areas cleared by fire. |
