Description Are you selling or buying a home in King or Pierce County? The Tacoma Smelter Plume is a 1,000-square-mile area contaminated with arsenic and lead from the former Asarco smelter. Home owners can get their soil tested for free and buyers can look up testing data in the Arsenic in Soils database.
