| Description | This report summarizes water quality data collected by the Department of Ecology from the Middle Snake Watershed, WRIA 35, located in the southeastern corner of Washington, from 2005 through 2007. In addition to ongoing monitoring on the Snake and Tucannon Rivers, Ecology completed four new monitoring projects that evaluated: • The impact of Pomeroy’s wastewater treatment plant on Pataha Creek. • The condition of Whitman County streams discharging into the Snake River. • The effect of better management of grazing operations on streams in Asotin and Garfield Counties. Field data include pH, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and temperature. Laboratory data include fecal coliform, turbidity, total suspended solids, biochemical oxygen demand, and nutrients. An analysis of data quality is included. |
