Description | This focus sheet summarizes the Deep Lake report linked under Related Publications below. In response to citizen complaints about water quality in Deep Lake in Stevens County, the Washington State Department of Ecology collected baseline water quality data at the lake during 2014. Study findings include elevated fecal coliform and total suspended solids in the inlet stream, significant sediment trapping by the lake, and anoxia in the hypolimnion during the summer months. |
