Description The Industrial Stormwater General Permit applies to all facilities conducting industrial activities that discharge stormwater to a surface waterbody or to a storm sewer system that drains to a surface waterbody. The purpose of this manual is to help those who operate facilities do their own stormwater sampling. The manual provides a step-by-step procedure of what facilities need to do to sample, gather, and report data in order to describe the quality of stormwater leaving the facility.
