Description | The Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) is proposing to remove the Geiger Heights Housing Area (Site) from the Hazardous Sites List. The Site is located at Grove and Hallet roads, in Spokane, Spokane County, Washington. Between 1994 and 2015, the property owners cleaned up underground storage tanks that had leaked fuel oil to soil and groundwater. Ecology recently evaluated the actions completed under the Voluntary Cleanup Program (VCP). Owners independently clean up their properties to meet the state cleanup standards under the VCP process. |
