Description This is the final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS) for the rule amendment to Chapter 173-201A WAC. The purpose of this rulemaking is to adopt human health criteria to protect people in Washington State who consume fish and shellfish in waters regulated by the Washington State Department of Ecology. This FEIS provides a discussion of significant environmental impacts and helps inform decision makers and the public of reasonable alternatives, including mitigation measures, which would avoid or minimize adverse impacts or enhance environmental quality.
