Author(s) Eagleston, A.
Description Department of Ecology staff and regional taxonomists are developing taxonomic guides, including voucher sheets and workshop notes, for Puget Sound sediment-dwelling invertebrates. These guides will facilitate standardized taxonomy for future Puget Sound and Salish Sea benthic invertebrate (benthos) monitoring.

This benthic invertebrate voucher sheet includes taxonomic nomenclature, species description, diagnostic characteristics, species habitat information, characteristics of related species, regional taxonomist comments, and taxonomic literature used to identify this animal to the lowest possible taxon for Ecology’s Marine Sediment Monitoring Program.
