Description This study presents a scientific analysis of water temperature in the Tieton River and the lower Naches River (below the confluence with the Tieton River).

It presents water temperature monitoring results from 2004 and 2015. Monitored water temperature for nearly all sites in both rivers exceeded (did not meet) current freshwater temperature criteria for aquatic life uses. During 2015, water temperature in the Naches River also exceeded supplemental spawning temperature criteria, in applicable portions of the river.

This study also presents simulation results for modeling water temperature using QUAL2Kw software.
