Description | The Permittees submitted a draft permit modification to Ecology that requested incorporation of new and modified design information for the Hanford Facility RCRA Permit for the Treatment, Storage, and Disposal of Dangerous Waste, Part III, Operating Unit Group 10, Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant (WTP), hereafter called the “WTP Permit”. Date 01/2018 Response to Comments The proposed Class 2 Modification to the WTP Permit includes the addition of Non-critical Process Piping to the Effluent Management Facility (EMF) that will support the Direct-Feed Low Activity Waste (DFLAW) configuration. This proposed modification supports the construction of the piping, vessels, and systems within the EMF. | ||||
