Description Publication 18-08-007. A vessel traffic safety report for the Strait of Juan de Fuca and Puget Sound is required by the 2018 Strengthening Oil Transportation Safety Act, in order to help inform legislators on vessel safety risk and specific safety measures. This focus sheet outlines the process for Tribes, First Nations, and stakeholders contributing to the report.
