Description This document delineates the Department of Ecology’s Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for manually obtaining representative grab samples from a variety of stormwater conveyance systems. This SOP covers the use of intermediate collection devices, but does not describe the operation of unattended automated sampling devices used to collect stormwater samples.
