Description This policy describes the methodologies for how assessment units(AU's) will generally be assessed for each water quality standard parameter (for example, bacteria or dissolved oxygen) and then placed in one of five categories, ranging from waters that meet tested standards (Category 1)to impaired waters (Category 5). The different listing categories described in this WQA policy identify the status of the AU for each parameter and may signify future actions need to improve or protect water quality.
