Description You are invited to review draft documents for the final phase of cleanup at the Custom Plywood Mill site for the “Phase III subtidal cleanup action” and send your comments to Ecology for consideration. Review the draft Cleanup Action Plan/Engineering Design Report, and SEPA Mitigated Determination of Non-significance for the Site.

The final phase of cleanup will remove subtidal dioxins/furans and wood waste and enhance recovery of an eelgrass bed. This action requires dredging contaminated sediments, backfilling with clean sand, and applying a thin-layer cap of clean sand over the subtidal area.
