Description | This is a quality assurance project plan for assessing the presence of dioxin and other contaminants in private domestic drinking water wells in the Lower Yakima Valley. Fifteen wells will be sampled for dioxins/furans, nitrate, arsenic, lead, and other ancillary parameters. Wells will be sampled over two seasons (fall 2019 and spring 2020) to account for seasonal variations. The dioxins/furans results from this study will be validated by an independent third party and also reviewed internally by the Department of Ecology. All other data will be validated by Ecology’s Manchester Environmental Laboratory. | ||||
