Description La cuenca del medio-Yakima está localizada en la parte sur-centro del estado de Washington que rodea e incluye las ciudades de Yakima, Union Gap, Moxee y Tieton, y también la comunidad de Cowiche. El proyecto de la Carga Diaria Máxima Total de Bacteria en la Cuenca del Rio Medio-Yakima (TMDL Bacteria del Rio Medio-Yakima) engloba más de 338 millas cuadradas y contiene tres sub-cuencas: el arroyo de Cowiche, el drenaje de Moxee y el arroyo de Wide Hollow.
