Description | The Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency (YRCAA) adopted revisions to the new source review (NSR) and general air quality rules. These rules control the amount of criteria pollutants in the ambient air. In March 2021, YRCAA submitted the revised rules to Ecology and requested Ecology submit them to EPA for review and approval into the State Implementation Plan (SIP). This SIP revision applies to sources in YRCAA’s jurisdiction located within Yakima County, Washington, except for tribal lands where EPA is the air quality regulator. This SIP revision document explains how the rules have changed from the previously SIP-approved version, and how the changes continue to implement the National Ambient Air Quality Standards. | ||||
