Description The Washington State Department of Ecology announces the availability of approximately $10 million in grants to help accelerate the transformation of Washington’s diesel powered school bus fleet to an all-electric powered fleet. Investing in zero-emission technologies will help address current air pollution problems, avoid future air pollution problems, and improve both near and long-term public health in communities historically disproportionately impacted by diesel pollution.
