Description In 2019, the Department of Ecology monitored the Upper Yakima River Basin and its major tributaries, measuring parameters that are important to aquatic life: water temperature, dissolved oxygen, and pH. Monitoring took place at 50 locations throughout the upper basin, including two groundwater locations. Sampling for laboratory analysis occurred every 2 weeks. In addition to sampling, telemetered monitoring stations and other water quality data loggers continuously collected measurements from April-November, while other sensor installations captured short-term diel measurements from various other locations throughout the upper basin.

This report is a data summary of the laboratory and field water quality data collected in 2019 for this Aquatic Life study. It also includes the quality assurance analysis.
