Description This publication was the archived storyboard for the “PPCP & PFAS Concentrations in Puget Sound Sediments: Story map and interactive dashboard” story map, an online interactive report created by the Department of Ecology’s Marine Sediment Monitoring Team: https://storymaps.arcgis.com/stories/8f24c89a0db54900a816692b20486609

This story map was created to accompany the report “Pharmaceuticals, Personal Care Products, and Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances in Puget Sound Sediments: 2010-2019 Data Summary”. The story map provides a brief description of these chemicals and how they were measured by the Marine Sediment Monitoring Team from 2010 through 2019 to gain understanding of their distribution throughout Puget Sound.

An interactive dashboard, generated from the data, is included in the story map. This allows the reader to view graphics depicting the number of samples collected, the average detected concentration, and the chemical data qualifiers for all chemicals measured. An interactive map also allows the reader to plot on a map of Puget Sound the spatial distribution of the chemical analysis qualifier value of any selected chemical measured as part of this study.
