Description | This document is the Environmental Assessment Program (EAP) Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Determining Time-of-Travel in Freshwater Streams using a Rhodamine WT Dye Tracer and a Hydrolab® meter with a Rhodamine WT Sensor. High-level dye studies can be used to estimate dispersion characteristics of streams as well as time-of-travel. This SOP is limited to procedures for low-level dye studies to estimate the travel time of water. | ||||||
