Description This report is from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance. This project’s purpose was to research and outline avenues for optimizing Washington State’s recycling programs through solid waste system mapping and regulatory analysis. The research was conducted with the goal of finding opportunities to ensure that solid waste services across the state are provided in an efficient, coordinated, equitable, climate-friendly, and sustainable manner.
