Description | Ecology is conducting rulemaking to establish reporting requirements for recipients of auction revenue from the cap-and-invest program. Auction revenue will be used to increase climate resiliency, fund alternative-transportation grant programs, help Washington transition to a low-carbon economy, and more. Reporting requirements will cover spending that benefits vulnerable populations within overburdened communities and spending on Tribal lands. The rule will help Ecology complete the required annual report about climate spending to the legislature. |
