Description | We asked over 100 machine shops what metalworking fluids (MWFs) they use. We worked with their manufacturers to sort the MWFs by toxicity and their disposal requirements to create a list of safer alternatives. Chlorinated paraffins, some biocides, and additives in MWFs are toxic. See publication 21-04-041, Metalworking Fluid Selection by Score, to choose a safer alternative. | ||||
