Description | When oil spills impact our natural, cultural and historic, and publicly owned resources, the Washington Department of Ecology works with other federal, state, and local agencies and tribes to restore those resources to pre-spill conditions. The Washington State Legislature created the Coastal Protection Fund (CPF) to fund restoration and enhancement projects and studies with money collected through Resource Damage Assessments following oil spills. This publication provides guidance and information about the Spills CPF grant eligibility requirements, the application process, and the general requirements applicable to all awards under this grant program. | ||||
