Description This report summarizes the Air Operating Permit (AOP) Program financial details, performance, and program activities for Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 (July 1, 2022 - June 30, 2023). The Air Quality Program works to limit and reduce air pollution so that everyone living in and around Washington has clean, healthy air to breathe, improved visibility, and a healthy environment. The AOP Program is an air pollution control program, based on federal law, designed to standardize air quality permits and the permitting process for major sources of air emissions.
