This notice announces funding available to transition switcher locomotives, tugboats, emergency vehicles, paratransit, and other medium-and heavy-duty local freight vehicles to all-electric models to reduce toxic diesel emissions from diesel vehicles, engines, and equipment in Washington. Due to operational requirements, emergency vehicles and tugboats may have auxiliary engines, and would be considered hybrid projects. |
