Author(s) Air Quality Program
Description The Washington State Department of Ecology’s Air Quality Program issues air quality permits to industrial businesses. The program charges fees to cover the costs of reviewing applications and issuing the permits. On August 1, 2025 we held a 30-day comment period for a proposal to increase the fees by 18.5 percent. This document is a response to the comments received during that comment period.
