This report outlines the strategies that Ecology and Resource Data identified to help incentivize different food organizations engaged in food rescue. It also shares an update on the data collected so far and lists the signed Data Sharing Agreements (DSAs) with Feeding America and its partners. These agreements are a key step toward tracking progress towards Washington’s goals for food rescue and food waste reduction. This report also includes estimated program costs and a plan to guide Ecology and other state agencies in advancing implementation efforts. |
