Description The Washington State Department of Ecology established a total maximum daily load (TMDL) for fine sediments in Soos Creek to address aquatic life impairments. The impairments were determined based on the benthic index of biotic integrity (B-IBI). The study used total suspended solids (TSS) as a proxy for fine sediments. The TMDL details how and when identified TSS reductions will be achieved.
