This Quality Assurance Project Plan (QAPP) addresses the scope of the proposed geotechnical explorations at the Springwood Reservoir site to support the Upper Yakima System Multi-Benefit Water Storage (UYSS) Project using funds provided by the Washington State Department of Ecology (Ecology) Grant (Agreement No. WRYBIP-2325-KittRD-00052). The overall goal of the UYSS Feasibility Study is to provide multiple benefits for improving the water supply for agriculture and fish and address drought mitigation concerns. The systematic planning process of the QAPP includes a description of the project, goals, and objectives; the project organization, key staff, and schedule; the study design; the specification of quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) to assess the quality performance criteria; and a description of the analyses, data storage, and reporting of acquired data for the proposed geotechnical exploration plan. |
