Description The Clean Fuel Standard is a Washington state program that helps reduce carbon emissions from transportation fuels. During the first two years of reporting, most participants met their requirements by balancing deficits with clean fuel credits. When companies fall short, they can use a special credit market to make up the difference. This market runs each summer and allows approved companies to sell extra credits to those who need them. In 2025, a price limit was set for these credits. This document outlines organizations participating in the market and steps to comply.
