| Description | The Community Engagement Plan is a requirement of the Healthy Environment for All Act (HEAL Act, Chapter 70A.02 RCW). It describes how Ecology seeks to facilitate direct, meaningful, and equitable engagement with communities, especially overburdened communities and vulnerable populations as defined in the HEAL Act. The Community Engagement Plan enhances consistency and agency accountability by providing employees with a structured process for scoping, planning, implementing, and evaluating community engagement. It also includes best practices for promoting access and addressing barriers to engagement. | ||||
