| Description | This fall, the Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxics Monitoring Program will collect freshwater fish from seven lakes across Washington as part of our long-term contaminant monitoring study. The edible fillet tissues will be analyzed for mercury and per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to understand how these concentrations bioaccumulate and change over time. | ||||
