| Description | This summer the Persistent, Bioaccumulative, and Toxics Monitoring Program will collect sediment cores from three lakes across Washington; American Lake, Lake Sammamish, and Loon Lake. Sediments from these cores will be age-dated and analyzed for per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to understand how concentrations of these forever chemicals have changed in the environment over time. | ||||
