Description The goal of this project is to investigate aquifer characteristics, hydrogeology, and surface water–groundwater interactions in the Toppenish Creek alluvial fan using geochemical and stratigraphic techniques. The project will quantify the stratigraphy and hydrochemistry of the Toppenish Creek alluvial fan to assess the recharge and mixing of surface water with groundwater in the Yakama Nation Toppenish Fan Shallow Aquifer Recharge Project (TFSARP).
