The Department of Ecology completed a statewide rulemaking to update Chapter 173-441 WAC and Chapter 173-446 WAC — Climate Commitment Act Program Rule and the Reporting of Emissions of Greenhouse Gases Rule. This publication is an environmental justice assessment for this rulemaking. The Environmental Justice Assessment process helps assess the environmental justice impacts of significant agency actions. The assessment informs and supports consideration of overburdened communities and vulnerable populations when making decisions. This information assists with the equitable distribution of environmental benefits, the reduction of environmental harms, and the identification and reduction of health disparities. |
