Description | The 1981 WQI analysis is very similar to the analysis performed in 1980. The WQI software developed by Ray Peterson, EPA, Region 10, was again used to evaluate the water quality data of the state. Water segments were evaluated in the following 10 categories: temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, fecal coliform bacteria, trophic (nutrients), aesthetics (primarily turbidity), suspended solids, radioactivity, organic toxicity, and ammonia toxicity. |
