Description Approximately 90 urban drains which discharge into Grays Harbor were inspected during a dry weather survey in July 1987. Twenty-nine drains were flowing at the time and sampled for a variety of indicator pollutants. Six of the drains sampled exhibited anomalous pollutant levels and suspicious visual characteristics. At least one drain was later found to receive a domestic sewage connection. The results of the present study provide a list of drains which may receive improper domestic or industrial discharges.
