Author(s) Reif, D.
Description A Class II inspection was performed at the city of Bellingham’s Post Point Pollution Control Plant on August 25 and 26, 1987. The plant was running well, violated no NPDES permit parameters, and exceeded its designed removal efficiencies. Laboratory procedures and agreement of split sample results were excellent. Three effluent bioassays (rainbow trout, oyster larvae, and Microtox) indicated varying degrees of toxicity. Recommendations were made for influent sampler placement, further effluent bioassay testing, and minor laboratory adjustments.
