Description A Class II inspection was conducted at the Wapato Wastewater Treatment Plant (WTP) on October 5-7, 1987. The effluent was within permit limitations during the inspection. Laboratory samples did not correlate well with Ecology’s. Composite samplers need to be installed to obtain a more representative influent sample/load and a consistent sampling methodology. The treatment plant exceeded the “85% of design” criteria for influent loading. Therefore, a plan and schedule for continuing to maintain adequate treatment capacity should be submitted to Ecology.
