Description An abbreviated monitoring survey was conducted in March 1989 on the Skagit River and at the Burlington wastewater treatment plant to evaluate the potential effects of plant effluent on the drinking water supply for the city of Anacortes. Due to excellent receiving water dilution, no primary or secondary drinking water parameters exceeded standards for human health protection in the river below the treatment plant.
