| Description | On January 28, 1991, Ecology adopted amendments to Chapter 173-340 WAC, the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulation, including: a) Part 7 (cleanup standards), b) Section 440 (institutional controls), and c) Section 450 (releases from underground storage tanks). The rule was became effective on February 28, 1991. The adopted rule was published in Washington State Register 91-04-019. This document was issued in January 1991 and cataloged on Washington State Department of Ecology’s Publications website in 2016. The document provides reasons for adopting the rule, describes any differences between the proposed and adopted rules, and provides Ecology’s response to public comments on the proposed rule. Part F of this document is bound separately and contains the written comments and public testimony summaries on the proposed rule and the draft environmental impact statement. It is available from Ecology upon request. |
