| Description | On January 28, 1991, Ecology adopted amendments to Chapter 173-340 WAC, the Model Toxics Control Act (MTCA) Cleanup Regulation, including: a) Part 7 (cleanup standards), b) Section 440 (institutional controls), and c) Section 450 (releases from underground storage tanks). The rule was became effective on February 28, 1991. The adopted rule was published in Washington State Register 91-04-019. This document was issued on January 16, 1991, and cataloged on the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Publications website in 2016. The document presents an environmental impact analysis of alternative approaches for establishing cleanup standards in Part 7 of Chapter 173-340 WAC. The document was prepared in accordance with the Washington State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA), Chapter 43.21C WAC, and SEPA rules, Chapter 197-11 WAC. |
