Description | Ecology conducted a Class II Inspection at the James River, Camas Pulp and Paper Mill on June 4-6, 1990. The mill was operating within daily maximum permit parameters at the time of the inspection. The Blue Creek discharge (outfall 002) experienced a high pH excursion for a short time during the inspection. No acute effluent toxicity was indicated by rainbow trout, Hyalella azteca, or Daphnia magna bioassays. Some acute toxicity was indicated by Microtox. Significant chronic toxicity was indicated by both Daphnia magna and Ceriodaphnia dubia. BOD5 and TSS agreement between laboratories was acceptable. | ||||
